Shanghai, China — Oct 17, 2025
Shanghai Kunhe Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd. (Kunhe Supply Chain), a wholly owned subsidiary of ZKH Industrial Supply (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (ZKH), has officially passed the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) 1.5°C near-term target validation, with technical support from internationally recognized testing, inspection, and certification institution SGS. This achievement underscores Kunhe Supply Chain’s firm commitment to sustainable, low-carbon development and marks a significant milestone in aligning China’s industrial supply chain sector with global decarbonization goals.

As climate change continues to pose urgent global challenges, Kunhe Supply Chain, a digital-driven logistics service provider for industrial supplies, has aligned itself with the national "Dual Carbon" goals (carbon peak by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2060) and global sustainability standards. In January 2025, Kunhe Supply Chain joined the SBTi, committing to set science-based near-term emission reduction targets.
Following a rigorous review process, its targets were officially approved by SBTi in June 2024:
● Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 42% by 2030 from a 2023 base year;
● Reduce Scope 3 GHG emissions intensity from upstream transport and distribution by 25.4% per ton-kilometer by 2030, compared to 2023 levels.
These targets include land-related emissions and removals from bioenergy feedstocks.

As the parent company, ZKH has integrated the concept of sustainable development deeply into its strategic blueprint.
On the environmental front, ZKH has built an end-to-end green management system covering nine key stages, from design and procurement to recycling. The company has implemented GHG verification and product carbon footprint assessments, jointly signed carbon reduction commitments with its top three transport partners, and pledged to achieve carbon neutrality in operations by 2030 and full carbon neutrality by 2050.
The SBTi validation of Kunhe Supply Chain marks a solid step in ZKH’s scientific carbon reduction strategy. Moving forward, ZKH will continue to empower industrial value chains through digitalization and innovation, fostering a greener, more sustainable industrial future.
